About
eCampusWIDE is a
brand new social network built just for students at UGA and
the Athens community. Covering everything from
Academics to Entertainment, BookSwaps to Drink Specials...for
UGA students - it's the ULTIMATE UGA
RESOURCE.
The idea was
conceived about two years ago by a UGA student who believed
that social networking was more than just photos, events, and
status updates, and could actually help students save time,
instead of waste it.

Jacob Berton -
Chief WIDEner
At first glance you
may mistake Jacob for a local street scavenger, often found
wearing mangled clothes from junior high and begging for
change around town. Although he may not have car
insurance, health insurance, or a place to sleep - he sure
has a damn good idea. You may catch a glimpse of this
rare individual at a local establishment using 'free cheese
dip' coupons as a modern day bartering tool or as a catchy
pick up line - women
beware.
Ryan Fogelgren -
Chief Executioner
When we first
stumbled across Ryan pumpin' iron in the Ramsey center, we
thought he had more muscle than brains... we later determined
that to be the truth. When it comes to business he has
only one thing in mine, doing. If it was up to him,
planning would be a thing of the past and would only happen
as we are doing. You might catch Ryan at a local home
decor establishment with his newlywed wife, Lauren... they
typically have pretty 'big' days.
Jesse
Goodson - Perpetual Laugher
We knew Jesse would be an asset to the
team when she showed up to her first meeting with a
three ring binder labeled "eCampusWIDE", then planned one
of the largest social events of the year in a matter
of minutes... impressive, we know. Although she may laugh
awkwardly or show up after having 'one' drink the
night before, Jesse sure makes it look
easy. The easiest
way to find Jesse is to stop by the bar with
the best drink specials and you'll surely find her front n'
center.
Shannon Lazo -
Ultimate Judge
Similar to Simon
Cowell, Shannon usually has a judgment of you even before you
meet her, typically by facebook stalking or snooping around
your house late in the evening. If you have the
opportunity to interview with her, don't worry about what she
says about you after you leave... those comments simply
cannot be stopped. Shannon can be found in very awkward
situations and can't ever seem to explain how it happens to
her... don't worry folks, none of it is self-inflicted, we
promise.
